DNA (Chemical Properties: does it react with acid, etc)
Calcium is reactive and soft for a metal. It is a silvery, metalic element that is omewhat difficult to ignite. Calcium metal reacts with water, changing Hydrogen gas at a rate fast enough to be noticable. In water solutions of acid, where this salt is soluble, calcium reacts vigorously.
